Ordering is very easy at babysafehomes.com using our secure checkout process. We are committed to offering you the very lowest prices on our entire inventory of quality safety products. We fulfill thousands of orders a month which gives us the buying power we need from our distributors to offer great prices below everyday retail prices.

Our Products

All products sold by BabySafeHomes.com are considered new, factory sealed & covered by manufacturer warranties unless obviously specified. If you find your package is not delivered in this condition, please contact us immediately at customer support. BabySafeHomes.com does not offer any technical assistance on our products. We can offer pre-sales advice regarding many of our gates and their applications. We are not technicians, only quality retailers with competitive prices.

Errors or omissions in descriptive, typographic, pricing and/or photographic representation are subject to correction. We reserve the right to modify this site's content at any time.

Shipping Policies

Combined Shipping

We combine most items to help you save on shipping costs. Some items cannot be combined due to their size or weight. Most of our Safety Gates can ship together unless they ship oversize. Drop-ship items ship separately. Some items may have restrictions as to which countries we can ship. Please see international shipping section below. Our shopping cart will combine most items based on size and weight to determine shipping rates. Shipping Guidlines

Phone Numbers: Due to carrier restrictions, we may require a phone number for some destinations. This may delay your order from shipping until we can obtain that information. This number is used by the shipping company to contact you once your item is ready for delivery and in no way would we ever think about sharing your number or any of your other information with any outside source

Post Office Box Address: UPS will generally not deliver to standard P.O Boxes. In these cases, please provide a physical address for shipping or verify with us that your P.O Box is capable of receiving UPS shipments. Delays in shipping may occur will attempting to obtain that information.

APO and FPO Address:We can ship most items to APO and FPO Address's. Additional shipping costs may be required and should automatically be calculated for you at checkout.

International Shipping

Location Restrictions: Not all items can be shipped to all locations that we ship to. In some cases products do not meet local laws or regulations for safety. We may be restricted by the manufacturers or US export laws. Please see individual ads for item restricions

Customs and Duties: All orders from outside the United States must be pre-paid in U.S. dollars and are subject to normal import duty, taxes and customs clearance charges in the destination country. International shipping duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility; Baby Safe Homes has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. If a customer refuses shipment due to duties and taxes, the customer will be liable for any costs incurred by babysafehomes.com. UPS may charge a brokerage fee for any item delivered when they collect import taxes. This money is in no way associated with any fees and is not collected by Baby Safe Homes at any time.

Shipping Timelines

We ship most items within 1-3 days of receiving your order. . Please allow 3-7 business days for items which may not be in stock. Delivery time for UPS ground and USPS First Class Mail is 3 to 6 business days. USPS Priority Mail is 2 to 5 business days. International orders may take longer due to customs and distance.

BabySafeHomes.com does not ship on weekends or holidays and these days do not count as part of the delivery time.

Arrangements can be made for pickup at our warehouse. As our warehouse hours vary, you will need to schedule a time with us in advance.

Refused or Unreachable Deliveries

If the shipment is "returned to shipper", BabySafeHomes.com will then credit the customer less the 15% restocking fee, any fee's associated with original transaction (i.e. ebay, paypal, etc.), and shipping and handling charges, including all items paid for that returns with those refused boxes. If not all items are refused then only the items received back will be refunded.

Shipping Charges

Shipping and handling charges are displayed upon checkout of your order. Although BabySafeHomes.com tries to display accurate shipping charges upon checkout, in some limited cases, additional shipping charges may be applied "after" order has been placed to cover shipping calculation errors generated by our shipping software or other shipping miss-calculations that can occur upon checkout. In these cases, additional shipping charges will be applied after items have been boxed, weighed and scanned and customer will be notified via email. If shipping charges do not show up "at all" upon checkout, shipping charges will be added later and customer will be notified. In the above limited cases, customer will only be charged actual carrier shipping charges and will not be charged for any handling such as boxing or packing fees. We reserve the right to update a shipping cost if the product is being shipped by freight or if there is an error on our site. Some of our larger items ship oversize and are an estimated cost. Depending on the location it may change.

Sales Tax

Current tax laws exclude BabySafeHomes.com from charging sales tax for any orders placed outside the state of California. If you are shipping your order to any address in California you will be charged the appropriate sales tax percentage for the address your order is being shipped to.

Return Policies

We want you to be satisfied with all merchandise purchased through us. We try to resolve any problems or concerns that may develop while conducting business with BabySafeHomes.com. If you need to return something, we ask that you carefully read and follow our return policy below.

30 Day Return

We will accept items for return or exchange within 30 days in NEW condition in original packaging less 15% restock fee, our shipping costs, eBay and paypal fees. Customer is responsible for insuring each return and all carrier shipping charges on the return, otherwise, return will be refused. Customer assumes full responsibility for any return shipping. All items will be inspected to insure the product is returnable. Once approved for return a refund will be credited back to the original payment source for the cost of the item excluding the shipping charges. No returns will be accepted after 30 days of receipt.

Receiving Incorrect Merchandise

Please contact us via email regarding any problems with items received. Please indicate the item code/sku/name of the product you did receive. We will immediately take care of any miss-ships that are sent.

Defective or DOA Merchandise

If item is defective, you will need to contact us regarding our RMA policy. If an RMA number is not obtained prior to returning the item, customer assumes full responsibility for any return shipping and refund may be delayed.

If the item appears to have obvious damage by the carrier, immediately tell the driver you do not want to receive this package or contact us so we can file a damage claim. If a package looks suspiciously damaged, you can tell the driver to wait and open it to make sure the contents are not damaged and if they are damaged refuse the package. If the item appears to be damaged straight from the manufacturer, please contact us. Please make sure to provide your order number. Before we reship or refund the claim with the courier must be resolved.

Non-Returnable Merchandise

We do not accept returns or exchanges on toilet locks, food grinders, banister shields, Kiddy Guard Screens, or Window Guards.

Cancellations

Pre-Shipping Cancellations for In-Stock Orders:Most orders placed with BabySafeHomes.com that are "in-stock" usually ship within 1-3 days, many times same day. Because of this, BabySafeHomes.com does not guarantee pre-shipping cancellations on any order('s) with "in-stock" items. Email us at customer service as soon as possible. Most orders are transmitted almost immediately to our warehouse and we may not be able to cancel your order.

Pre-Shipping Cancellations for "Backordered" Items: If for any reason an order or item is Backordered, customers will be notified via email. We receive shipments from manufacturers on a weekly basis and backordered items may ship at any time. Because of this, BabySafeHomes.com does not guarantee cancellations on any orders containing back order items. However, customers may submit a cancellation request for orders that have Backordered item’s by email to customer service. Be sure to include the order number and the item(s) you wish to cancel. If order has partially shipped, we will only refund for the remaining item(s) that have not shipped. Please allow 48 hours to ensure order has not shipped.

At BabySafeHomes.com you can shop with confidence. We use industry standard encryption technology and secure commerce servers to ensure your personal information is secured on-line. Making a credit card purchase at BabySafeHomes.com is actually as secure as using your credit card at a local store or shopping mall.
